More information about Sauvignon Blanc - Palo Alto
Palo Alto Sauvignon Blanc is a first-class white wine that enters the wine glass. Here it reveals a wonderfully bright, light yellow color. Poured into a white wine glass, this white wine from Chile offers wonderfully expressive aromas of fruit bread, raisins, white currant and gooseberry, rounded off by juniper, lovage and Mediterranean herbs.
The Palo Alto Sauvignon Blanc presents itself to the wine drinker wonderfully dry. This white wine never appears coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine in the upper price range. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture. With its incisive fruit acidity, the Sauvignon Blanc reveals itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this white wine from the wine-growing region Valle Central, more precisely from Valle de Maule, finally convinces with good reverberation.
Vinification of the Palo Alto Sauvignon Blanc
The basis for the balanced Sauvignon Blanc from Valle Central are grapes from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc. After the hand harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Sauvignon Blanc can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
