More information about Sauvignon Blanc Reserve - Aldinger
Aldinger's Sauvignon Blanc Reserve enters the glass with brilliant, light straw yellow and greenish reflections and delights with wonderfully fresh aromas of black currants, red and yellow gooseberries and lemongrass. Ethereal notes of mint and lemon balm also define the first nose. If we trace the bouquet further, hints of bell bell pepper and savory join in.
On the palate, the Aldinger Sauvignon Blanc Reserve enchants with racy acidity, phenomenal drinking flow and wonderfully fresh hints of lime. A wonderfully full-fruited white wine from Württemberg, which shows beautiful mineral nuances in the long finish and knows how to inspire with a fine melt.
Vinification of the Sauvignon Blanc Reserve from Aldinger
The Sauvignon Blanc Reserve is made from hand-picked grapes that grow in the Rotenberger Schlossberg. After harvesting, 80% of the grapes are fermented well cooled at 10-12 °C in stainless steel tanks. This very reductively produced partial wine is contrasted with a 20% share in the assemblage, which was aged in barrique and thus provides fullness, melting and spiciness.
Food recommendations for the Sauvignon Blanc Reserve from Aldinger
Serve this particularly expressive Sauvignon with Vietnamese or Thai cuisine or expressive chicken or fish dishes with lots of lemon or lime zest.
