More information
In the glass, the Sauvignon Blanc Touraine of Baron Briare shows a bright pale yellow color. The bouquet of this white wine from the Val de Loire captivates with nuances of gooseberry, green apple and elderberry. If we trace the aromatics further, green peppers are added.
On the palate, the Sauvignon Blanc Touraine of Baron Briare starts pleasantly aromatic, fruity and balanced. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly light texture. In the finish, this youthful wine from the wine-growing region of the Val de Loire finally inspires with good length. Once again, hints of gooseberry and elderberry are evident.
Vinification of the Sauvignon Blanc Touraine from Baron Briare
The basis for the balanced Sauvignon Blanc Touraine from France are grapes from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
Food recommendation for the Baron Briare Sauvignon Blanc Touraine
Drink this white wine from France ideally well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompaniment to cod with cucumber-mustard vegetables, spaghetti with caper-tomato sauce or cabbage roulades.
