The Scheurebe dry from Ellermann and Spiegel from the Pflaz shimmers light yellow with golden reflections in the glass. The nose has a lot of freshness and exotic fruit, which is why the Scheurebe is often referred to as a counterpart to Sauvignon Blanc. Gooseberry and passion fruit are also encountered on the palate, combining with a lively acidity. The finish is lively and fresh with a drinking balance of acidity and full fruitiness.
