More information
The light-footed Schmuckstück white from the Metzger winery flows into the glass with a brilliant light yellow color. The first nose of Schmuckstück white presents notes of mirabelle, apples and apricots. The fruity parts of the bouquet are joined by more fruity-balsamic nuances.
The Weingut Metzger Schmuckstück white presents itself to the connoisseur wonderfully dry. This white wine is never coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine in the upper price range. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the white gem reveals itself on the palate fantastically fresh and lively. In the finish, this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate finally thrills with good length. There are again hints of nashi pear and pear.
Vinification of the winery Metzger Schmuckstück white
The basis for the elegant Schmuckstück white from the Palatinate are grapes from the grape varieties Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Blanc. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
Food recommendation for the Schmuckstück white from Weingut Metzger
Enjoy this white wine from Germany ideally well chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompanying wine to roasted trout with ginger pear, leek tortilla or leek soup.
