On the palate, the SEA CHANGE Pinot Gris from Tina Pfaffmann opens wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced.Despite its dry taste, this white wine inspires with juicy melting and elegantly integrated residual sweetness. Light-footed and multifaceted, this creamy and light white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to its lively fruit acidity, the SEA CHANGE Pinot Gris presents itself impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful from the wine-growing region of the Palatinate finally inspires with good length. There are again hints of quince and apple. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the limestone and clay dominated soils join in.
Vinification of the SEA CHANGE Pinot Gris by Tina Pfaffmann
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, Pinot Grigio. For this exceptionally elegant single-varietal wine from Tina Pfaffmann, only impeccable grapes were brought in. In the Palatinate, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and limestone. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the SEA CHANGE Pinot Gris is allowed to further harmonize on its fine lees for several months.
