At the edges, this Spanish red also shows a transition into garnet red. The nose of this red wine from Rioja captivates with hints of black currant, blueberry, plum and mulberry. If we trace the aromatics further, gingerbread spice, cocoa bean and oak come in.
The Bodegas Izadi Selección presents itself to the wine drinker wonderfully dry. This red wine never shows itself coarse or meager, but round and smooth. The final of this red wine with good aging potential from the wine-growing region of Rioja, more precisely from the Rioja DOCa, finally convinces with a beautiful reverberation.
Vinification of the Selección from Bodegas Izadi
This powerful red wine from Spain is made from the grape varieties Graciano and Tempranillo. After the harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn into bottles.
