More information about Sheild Pinot Meunier Rosé - Drinks Cabinet Ltd

The light-bodied Sheild Pinot Meunier Rosé from Drinks Cabinet Ltd glides into the glass with a brilliant purple color. The initial nose of the Sheild Pinot Meunier Rosé reveals notes of pineapple, peaches and raspberries. The fruity hints of the bouquet are joined by more fruity-balsamic nuances.

This New Zealand wine convinces with its straightforward dry taste. It was bottled with 5.5 grams of residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so this New Zealander naturally enchants with the finest balance despite all dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily need a lot of residual sugar. Light-footed and multi-layered, this light and crisp rosé wine presents itself on the palate. With its lively fruit acidity, Sheild Pinot Meunier Rosé is impressively fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this wine from the wine-growing region of New Zealand South Island finally inspires with considerable length. Once again, hints of peach and pineapple appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by clay and gravel are added.

Vinification of the Sheild Pinot Meunier Rosé by Drinks Cabinet Ltd

The basis for the elegant Sheild Pinot Meunier Rosé from New Zealand's South Island are grapes from the Pinot Meunier grape variety. On New Zealand's South Island, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and gravel. When perfect physiological ripeness is assured, the grapes for Sheild Pinot Meunier Rosé are harvested particularly quickly and at the coolest possible time of day to preserve their aromas. After the harvest, the grapes arrive at the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Sheild Pinot Meunier Rosé is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.

Food recommendation for Drinks Cabinet Ltd Sheild Pinot Meunier Rosé
