Silvaner Fumé Toreye 2018 - Weingut Eymann

Light yellow with silvery reflections, the Silvaner Fumé Toreye from the Eymann winery presents itself in a glass. The nose is full and dense with wild herbs, fresh citrus notes and a fine smoky note (fumé = smoked). The palate is extremely powerful with juicy notes of stone fruit. In addition, there is a minerality that suits the Pfläzer white wine from the pen of Vincent Eymann very well to face. The finish is again determined by herbaceous notes, salt, fine smoky notes and nuances of Speyside Whisky. A Pfälzer Silvaner that impresses with its density and complexity, produced biodynamically and certified by Demeter. A real Fumé!

Vinification of Silvaner Fumé by Vincent Eymann

The Silvaner comes from the vineyards around Gönnheim. The grapes are harvested by hand, spontaneously fermented and aged in wooden barrels.
