In the Balearic Islands, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of gravel. Sió Negre 1.5 l Magnum is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Spaniard exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underscores the success of Old World wines. The grapes for this red wine from Spain, when perfectly ripe, are harvested exclusively by hand. After the hand harvest, the grapes immediately reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully ground. Then fermentation takes place in small wood at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the powerful Sió Negre 1.5 l Magnum is aged for another 12 months in French oak barriques.
