This Soave from the Veneto wine-growing region is a bright platinum yellow and golden yellow in the glass. In the glass, this white wine from Allegrini offers aromas of pomelo, lemons, honeysuckle, pink grapefruit and lemongrass, complemented by green peppers, sun-warmed rocks and forest floor. On the palate, Allegrini's Soave opens pleasantly dry, full-bodied and aromatic. Thanks to the moderate fruit acidity, the Soave flatters the palate with a soft sensation without lacking freshness. The finish of this youthful white wine from the Veneto wine-growing region impresses with a beautiful aftertaste.
Vinification of Allegrini Soave
The starting point for the first-class and wonderfully balanced Soave cuvée from Allegrini is Chardonnay and Garganega grapes. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally drawn off. The ageing in the barrel is followed by considerable bottle ageing, which makes this white wine even more complex.
