The Solerose Rosato Langhe DOC from Fontanafredda has a light pink color in the glass, which can take on copper reflections with age. The nose is caressed by the seductive aromas of raspberries, blueberries and ripe strawberries.

Vinification of the Fontanafredda Solerose Rosato
This cuvée is made from the Piedmontese grape varieties Barbera, Dolcetto and Nebbiolo. These three grape varieties are harvested separately at their respective optimum ripening times, destemmed, fermented in stainless steel tanks and cold macerated. The grapes are then pressed and fermented before being blended into a cuvée. Maturation took place for 3 months in stainless steel tanks on the fine lees at a temperature of 5°Celsius. This step prevented malolactic fermentation.
