Vinification of the Pinot Noir from Weingut Kiefer
The basis for the elegant Pinot Noir from Baden are grapes from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Baden. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of loam, loess and volcanic rock. After the hand harvest, the grapes immediately reach the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Pinot Noir can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
