The mirror Sauvignon Blanc from the wine-growing region of Styria reveals itself in the glass in brilliant shimmering light yellow. With a little time in the glass, this white wine from Austria offers wonderfully expressive aromas of gooseberry and white currant, rounded off by garrigue, green bell pepper and juniper.
On the palate, the Spiegel Sauvignon Blanc from Weingut Polz opens wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. Light-footed and complex, this light white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Spiegel Sauvignon Blanc reveals itself exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. The finale of this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Styria, more precisely from southern Styria, finally captivates with good reverberation.
Vinification of the winery Polz Spiegel Sauvignon Blanc
The basis for the elegant Spiegel Sauvignon Blanc from Austria are grapes from the Sauvignon Blanc grape variety. After the hand harvest, the grapes reach the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully ground. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off. After the wine is finished, the Spiegel Sauvignon Blanc is carefully harmonized.
