More information
Ideally poured into a sparkling wine glass, this spumante from the Old World presents wonderfully expressive aromas of morello cherry, blackberry, mulberry and plum, rounded off with other fruity nuances.
The Rocca dei Forti Spumante Rosso Dolce reveals an incredibly fruity taste on the palate, which is due in no small part to its residual sweetness profile. On the palate, the texture of this light-footed spumante is wonderfully crisp. Thanks to its lively fruit acidity, the Spumante Rosso Dolce is exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. On the finish, this Spumante from the Marche wine-growing region finally delights with good length. Once again, there are hints of morello cherry and plum.
Vinification of the Spumante Rosso Dolce from Rocca dei Forti
The basis for the elegant Spumante Rosso Dolce from the Marche region are grapes from the Montepulciano and Sangiovese grape varieties. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. This spumante is produced using the Charmat method.
Dining recommendations for the Spumante Rosso Dolce from Rocca dei Forti
Ideally, enjoy this spumante from Italy well-chilled at 8 - 10°C as an accompaniment to baked apples with yoghurt sauce, pear and lime strudel or banana trifle in a glass.
