This single-varietal German wine presents wonderfully youthful notes of fruit breads, black cherries, dried fruit and prunes in the glass. It is joined by hints of cinnamon, smoked meat and firewood.
The Kirchner Stadtmauer Dornfelder presents itself wonderfully dry to the wine lover. This red wine is never coarse or meager, but round and smooth. On the palate, the texture of this light-bodied red wine is wonderfully dense. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Stadtmauer Dornfelder is impressively fresh and lively on the palate. Vinification of the Kirchner Stadtmauer Dornfelder
Basis for the elegant Stadtmauer Dornfelder from the Palatinate are grapes from the grape variety Dornfelder. After the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly brought to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully milled. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Stadtmauer Dornfelder can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months....
