The Superb Sekt Trocken from the pen of Schlossberg Sektkellerei from Baden presents a brilliant platinum yellow color in the swirled glass. The bubbles of this sparkling wine shine consistently and finely in the glass. To the nose, this Schlossberg Sektkellerei sparkling wine reveals all manner of nashi pear, quince, pear, white currant and gooseberry.
The Schlossberg Sektkellerei Superb Sekt Trocken delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was brought to the bottle with only 29 grams of residual sugar. Here it concerns a genuine quality wine, which stands out clearly from simpler qualities and thus this German wine enraptures naturally with finest balance with all dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily need a lot of residual sugar. The Schlossberg Sektkellerei Superb Sekt Trocken reveals to us an incredibly fruity taste on the palate, which is not least due to its residual sweetness flavor profile. Due to the moderate fruit acidity, the Superb Sekt Trocken flatters with a velvety feel on the palate, without lacking juicy liveliness. In the finish, this from the Baden wine-growing region finally delights with good length. Hints of nashi pear and gooseberry are again apparent.
Vinification of the Schlossberg Sektkellerei Superb Sekt Trocken
The basis for the first-class and wonderfully elegant Cuvée Superb Sekt Trocken from Schlossberg Sektkellerei are Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Pinot Noir grapes. Following the harvest, the grapes are brought to the press house by the fastest route. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Then the fermentation of the base wines takes place. After the cuvée has been put together, further aging follows on the basis of classic bottle fermentation. Subsequently, the Schlossberg Sektkellerei Superb Sekt Trocken matures for several months in the bottle and is finally disgorged.
