The Vinho Verde Superior from Manhufe reveals a bright golden yellow color in the swirled glass. This Portuguese cuvée presents in the glass wonderfully complex notes of peach, pear, mirabelle plum and apple. In addition, hints of lime blossom.
The Manhufe Vinho Verde Superior tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine, this Portuguese naturally enraptures with the finest balance for all its dryness. Taste does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. On the tongue, this balanced white wine is characterized by an incredibly silky and crisp texture. The final of this white wine from the wine region Vinho Verde, more precisely from Vinho Verde DOC, finally captivates with beautiful reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the granite-dominated soils.
Vinification of Vinho Verde Superior from Manhufe
Basis for the first-class and wonderfully balanced cuvée Vinho Verde Superior from Manhufe are Avesso, Alvarinho and Arinto grapes. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Vinho Verde. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of granite. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally bottled.
