The Syrah from Kishor Winery in the Carmel Mountains offers a dense, purple-red color in the swirled glass. The first nose of the Syrah is flattering with nuances of blackberries. The fruity aspects of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel ageing and even more fruity, balsamic nuances.
On the palate, the Syrah from Kishor Winery starts off wonderfully dry, full-bodied and aromatic. This fleshy and dense red wine is powerful and complex on the palate. On the finish, this wine from the Carmel Mountains wine-growing region finally impresses with its beautiful length. Once again, there are hints of blackberry.
Vinification of the Syrah from Kishor Winery
The powerful Syrah from Israel is a single-varietal wine made from the Syrah grape variety. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are transported to the winery as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small wooden vats at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the powerful Syrah is aged for 14 months in French oak barrels.
