More information
The light-footed Tal Lúc Passito Bianco from the pen of Lis Neris comes into the glass with a brilliant light yellow color. The first nose of the Tal Lúc Passito Bianco reveals nuances of apple musk, mango and green apple. The fruity aspects of the bouquet are joined by notes of barrel ageing and even more fruity, balsamic nuances.
The Tal Lúc Passito Bianco can justifiably be described as particularly fruity and velvety, as it has been vinified with a wonderfully sweet taste profile. This velvety and crisp white wine is light-footed and multi-layered on the palate. The finish of this very mature white wine from the Friuli-Venezia Giulia wine-growing region impresses with its exceptional persistence. The finish is also accompanied by mineral notes from the limestone-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Lis Neris Tal Lúc Passito Bianco
This elegant Passito from Italy is made from the Riesling and Verduzzo grape varieties. The vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on limestone soils in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. When perfect physiological ripeness is ensured, the grapes for the Tal Lúc Passito Bianco are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of exhausting and barely selective harvesters. After manual harvesting, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wooden vats at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the light-footed Tal Lúc Passito Bianco is matured for 12 months in 500-liter oak barrels.
