The finish of this youthful Appassimento from the wine-growing region of Sicily ultimately delights with a beautiful aftertaste. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wood casks at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Tardus Appassimento Nero d'Avola is aged for a few months in oak barrels.
