More information about Te Muna Road Vineyards Aroha - Craggy Range

The Te Muna Road Vineyards Aroha from Craggy Range is a pure red wine vinified from Pinot Noir grapes. The name comes from the Maori language and means love

In the glass, this New Zealand wine presents itself in a dark purple red with violet reflections. A wonderfully complex aroma of rose petals, juicy cherries with subtle hints of pine needles unfolds. On the palate, the aromas of the nose also present themselves with juicy red fruits and are enclosed by a fascinatingly dense texture. The acidity is very balanced and harmonizes perfectly with the fine tannins. The finish is convincing with length.

Vinification of the Craggy Range Te Muna Road Vineyards Aroha

The Pinot Noir grapes come from the Martinborough growing region of New Zealand. The terraces of the Te Muna Road vineyard are elevated and provide the vines with an old, stony soil.

After careful hand picking, the grapes are fermented with a natural yeast. After fermentation, this red wine is rounded out in French oak barrels for 10 months.

Food recommendation for the Craggy Range Te Muna Road Vineyards Aroha

This dry red wine from New Zealand is an excellent accompaniment to fish dishes - especially grilled herb dorade - lamb dishes with rosemary potatoes or even duck breast on a dark sauce bed.
