In the glass, Soliano's organically produced Tempranillo presents a bright ruby color. This single varietal Spanish wine presents wonderfully expressive notes of plums, black cherries, morello cherries and plums in the glass. These are joined by hints of other fruits.
On the palate, Soliano's Tempranillo starts wonderfully aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. There are dry and really dry. This red wine belongs to the second group, because it was vinified with only 0.9 g of residual sugar. Balanced and complex, this dense red wine presents itself on the palate. Due to the moderate fruit acidity, the Tempranillo flatters the palate with a velvety feel, without lacking freshness. In the finish, this youthful from the wine-growing region of Castile - La Mancha finally thrills with good length. There are again hints of plum and damson.
Vinification of the Soliano Tempranillo
This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Tempranillo. Only premium grape material was harvested for this exceptionally balanced single varietal wine from Soliano. After the grape harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Tempranillo is allowed to further harmonize on the fine lees for a few months. Once the wine is finished, the Tempranillo is carefully harmonized.
Food recommendation for the Tempranillo of Soliano
This Spanish wine is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C. It is perfect as an accompanying wine to ossobuco, braised chicken in red wine or veal boiled beef with beans and tomatoes.
