Villa Rèmole, name giver of the Tenuta Rèmole from Frescobaldi

The historical villa in Sieci, east of Florence, where family memories meet the great history, gives the name to the wines of the Tenuta Rèmole. As early as the 14th century, mills along the Arno River, important factories that were among the largest in Tuscany and belonged to the ancestors of the frescoes, were located here for the processing and marketing of wool. The town of Rèmole is characterised by its extraordinary Romanesque church, whose slender steeple rises high above the church building.
