This single-varietal Italian wine flatters the glass with wonderfully expressive notes of lemongrass, jasmine, oranges and apples. There are also hints of other fruits.
The Sella & Mosca Terre Bianche Alghero impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with exceptionally low residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so, despite its dryness, this Italian naturally delights with the finest balance. Excellent taste does not necessarily require residual sugar. Thanks to its moderate fruit acidity, Terre Bianche Alghero flatters the palate with a velvety feel without lacking freshness. On the finish, this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Sardinia finally delights with good length. There are again hints of pink grapefruit and apple. In the finish, mineral notes from the limestone-dominated soil are added.
Vinification of the Terre Bianche Alghero from Sella & Mosca
The elegant Terre Bianche Alghero from Italy is a single-varietal wine made from the Torbato grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Sardinia. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into limestone soil. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
