In the glass, this red wine from Feudi Bizantini presents aromas of plums, morello cherries, blackcurrants, blackberries and blueberries, complemented by other fruity nuances. The Feudi Bizantini Terre dei Rumi Montepulciano d'Abruzzo impresses with its elegantly dry taste. It was bottled with 7.3 grams of residual sugar. This is a genuine quality wine that clearly stands out from simpler qualities and so, despite its dryness, this Italian naturally delights with the finest balance. Taste does not necessarily require a lot of sugar. This velvety red wine is balanced and complex on the palate. Thanks to its vital fruit acidity, Terre dei Rumi Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. On the finish, this young wine from the Abruzzo wine-growing region finally delights with its beautiful length. There are again hints of blueberry and plum.
Vinification of the Feudi Bizantini Terre dei Rumi Montepulciano d'Abruzzo
The basis for the balanced Terre dei Rumi Montepulciano d'Abruzzo from Abruzzo are grapes from the Montepulciano grape variety. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Terre dei Rumi Montepulciano d'Abruzzo can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for 4 months.
