The Bodega de Moya Tibó Merseguera is a first-class white wine in a crystal-clear glass. It has a wonderfully bright, platinum yellow color. The first nose of the Tibó Merseguera presents nuances of acacia, lemons and orange jam. The fruity parts of the bouquet are joined by even more fruity-balsamic nuances.
This wine tastes pleasantly dry. It was bottled with just 1.2 grams of residual sugar. As you would expect from a wine, this Spaniard naturally delights with the finest balance despite its dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily need a lot of sugar. On the palate, the texture of this well-balanced white wine is wonderfully light and crisp. Thanks to its lively fruit acidity, Tibó Merseguera is impressively fresh and lively on the palate. The finale of this white wine from the Valencia wine-growing region is a delight with a good finish.
Vinification of the Tibó Merseguera from Bodega de Moya
The balanced Tibó Merseguera from Spain is a cuvée made from the Gewürztraminer, Merseguera and Moscatel grape varieties. After the grape harvest, the grapes are immediately taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
