The name Tinto Negro, "black wine", is a tribute to the grape variety Malbec, the black wine of the Andes. The winery Tintro Negro was created by Alejandro Sejanovich and Jeff Mausbach, who have been working together in another winery for 15 years. Now, the two of them show the beautiful potential that the Mendoza region has to offer in their own vineyard. The grapes for the wines come from the "Premier region for Malbec", Altamira, and mature at an average temperature of 14 to 18 ° C. At night temperatures drop to 8 ° C, which makes Altamira a typical Cool-Climate cultivation area. The soil texture in this area is very diverse: from deep sandy sections to areas with coarse rocks to calcareous rock and muddy soils, the region offers a lot of space for winemaking creativity. A must- try for all lovers of the black wine!
