With the Gonzalez Byass Tio Pepe en Rama comes a first-class sherry in the swirled glass. In this it shows a wonderfully dense, golden yellow color. In the glass, this Fortified Wine from Gonzalez Byass presents aromas of pears, apples, nashi pear and quince, complemented by garrigue, green peppers and brittle. This Spanish wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with only 1 gram of residual sugar. As you would naturally expect from a wine in the high quality wine range, this Spaniard naturally enraptures with the finest balance despite all its dryness. Excellent taste does not necessarily require residual sugar. On the tongue, this powerful sherry is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture. Due to its present fruit acidity, the Tio Pepe en Rama reveals itself wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate. The final of this fortified wine from the wine-growing region of Andalusia, more precisely from Jerez DO, finally impresses with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the limestone-dominated soils.

Vinification of the Gonzalez Byass Tio Pepe en Rama

This Fortified Wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Palomino Fino. For this wonderfully powerful varietal wine from Gonzalez Byass, only first-class grapes were brought in. In Andalusia, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone.
