Thanks to the balanced fruit acidity, the Torcicoda Primitivo 1.5 l Magnum flatters the palate with a soft sensation without lacking freshness. The finish of this youthful red wine from the wine-growing region of Apulia, more precisely from Salento IGT, finally convinces with a remarkable aftertaste.
Vinification of the Tormaresca Torcicoda Primitivo 1.5 l Magnum
The powerful Torcicoda Primitivo 1.5 l Magnum from Italy is a single-varietal wine made from the Primitivo grape variety. Of course, the Torcicoda Primitivo 1.5 l Magnum is also determined by climatic and stylistic factors Salento IGT. This Italian wine can be described as an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, presenting itself in an exceptionally impressive way. When they are perfectly ripe, the grapes for the Torcicoda Primitivo 1.5 l Magnum are harvested exclusively by hand without the help of coarse and less selective machines. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in small wooden vats at controlled temperatures. Once fermentation is complete, the Torcicoda Primitivo 1.5 l Magnum is aged for a further 18 months in French and Hungarian oak barrels. The ageing in oak barrels is followed by a long period of bottle ageing, which makes this red wine even more complex.
