Vinification of the Tre Roveri Barbera d' Asti. from Pico Maccario
The basis for the powerful Tre Roveri Barbera d' Asti. from Piedmont are grapes from the Barbera grape variety. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small wood casks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Tre Roveri Barbera d' Asti is matured for a few months in oak barriques.
