The barrel-aged Trentanni Rosso Umbria from the Umbria wine-growing region presents a dense purple-red color in the glass. After the first swirl, this red wine reveals a high viscosity, which can be seen in the strong stained glass windows at the edge of the glass. This Italian cuvée flatters the glass with wonderfully expressive notes of sour cherries. There are also hints of forest floor, plum and chocolate.
On the palate, the Trentanni Rosso Umbria from Tenuta Marciliano opens pleasantly aromatic, fruity and balanced. On the palate, this powerful red wine is characterized by an incredibly velvety texture. The Trentanni Rosso Umbria reveals itself to be wonderfully fresh and lively on the palate thanks to its concise fruit acidity. Vinification of the Trentanni Rosso Umbria from Tenuta Marciliano
This powerful red wine from Italy is made from the Sangiovese and Merlot grape varieties. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Umbria. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into clay soils. The Trentanni Rosso Umbria is also clearly determined by the climate and the Umbria IGT winegrowing style. This Italian wine can be described as an Old World wine in the best sense of the word and is exceptionally impressive. After the grape harvest, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in small wooden vats at controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by 12 months of ageing in oak barriques.

This red wine from Italy is best enjoyed at a temperature of 15 - 18°C as an accompaniment to cod with cucumber and mustard vegetables, goose breast with ginger red cabbage and marjoram or braised chicken in red wine.
