Vinification of Turca of La Montecchia
This red wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Douce Noire. Only premium grape material was brought in for this wonderfully elegant single varietal wine from La Montecchia. In Veneto, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of slate. After the manual harvest, the grapes reach the press house in the fastest way possible. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After its end, the Turca can harmonize further for a few months on the fine lees.
