The light-footed Twentysix white from the house Bickel-Stumpf glides into the glass with brilliant light yellow. The first nose of Twentysix white reveals nuances of orange blossom, star fruit and papaya. The fruity components of the bouquet are joined by vanilla, dark chocolate and gingerbread spice.
On the palate, the Twentysix white from Bickel-Stumpf opens wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic.Despite its dry flavor profile, this white wine enchants with the finest melt and finely woven residual sweetness. Light-footed and multilayered, this silky and light white wine presents itself on the palate. Due to the balanced fruit acid, the Twentysix white flatters with a velvety mouthfeel, without lacking freshness at the same time. The final of this white wine from the wine-growing region of Franconia, more precisely from Frickenhausen, finally convinces with considerable reverberation. The finish is also accompanied by mineral facets of the limestone-dominated soils.
Vinification of the Twentysix white from Bickel-Stumpf
Basis for the elegant Twentysix white from Franconia are grapes from the varieties Gewürztraminer, Riesling, Scheurebe and Silvaner. In Franconia, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone. After harvesting, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Then fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the Twentysix white wine can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
