.This wine clearly focuses on one grape variety, and that is Primitivo. For this exceptionally powerful varietal wine from Ulisse, only top-quality grapes were used. In Abruzzo, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of limestone and clay. After the hand harvest, the grapes arrive at the winery by the fastest route. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The vinification is followed by aging for several months on the fine lees before the wine is finally drawn off.
