Light-footed and complex, this crisp sparkling wine presents itself on the palate. Due to its concise fruit acidity, the Urgestein Riesling Sekt brut presents itself exceptionally fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this sparkling wine from the wine-growing region of the Rheingau finally inspires with beautiful length. Once again, hints of apple and nashi pear appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by clay and gravel are added.
Vinification of the Trenz Urgestein Riesling Sekt brut
The basis for the elegant Urgestein Riesling Sekt brut from the Rheingau are grapes from the Riesling grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in the Rheingau. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of clay, sand and gravel. After the hand harvest, the grapes are quickly taken to the press house. Here they are selected and carefully broken up. Fermentation follows in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Urgestein Riesling Sekt brut can continue to harmonize for 16 months on the fine lees.
