Valdespino

The origins of Bodega Valdespino date back to 1264. Don Anlfonso Valdedspino was the first member of the family to grow sherry wines. After a successful battle, King Alonso rewarded his knights by giving them land in the city of Jerez.

Although 1430 commercial activities were recorded, the winery was registered in 1875. In 1883 Valdespino became the purveyor to the Spanish royal family and in 1932 the bodega became the sherry supplier for the Royal House of Sweden.
