More information
With the Bodegas Protos Verdejo comes a first-class white wine in the glass. In this it offers a wonderfully bright, light yellow color. The nose of this Bodegas Protos white wine shows all sorts of lemons, pineapple, star fruit, kumquats and pomelo. As if that wasn't already impressive, other aromas like lovage, juniper and green bell bell pepper join in.
On the palate, Bodegas Protos' Verdejo starts off pleasantly aromatic, fruit-driven and balanced. Balanced and complex, this dense white wine presents itself on the palate. In the finish, this white wine from the wine-growing region of Castile - León finally inspires with considerable length. Again, hints of pineapple and guava appear. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the soils dominated by clay and limestone are added.
Vinification of the Bodegas Protos Verdejo
The balanced Verdejo from Spain is a single varietal wine, vinified from the Verdejo grape variety. In Castile - Leon, the vines that produce the grapes for this wine grow on soils of clay and limestone. After the harvest, the grapes arrive quickly at the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. This is followed by fermentation in controlled temperatures. The fermentation is followed by maturation.
