Sparkling Wine Crémant Brut France Burgundy (FR)
Veuve Ambal is the largest producer of Crémant de Bourgogne. The company was founded in 1898 by Marie Ambal in Rully to grow into a large group of companies, which today includes the sparkling wine brands Rivarose, André Delorme and Prosper Masfoux. Veuve Ambal is still run by the founding family, the current directors are Eric Piffaut and his son Aurélien.
The estate covers 250 hectares, spread over 6 different terroirs. Naturally, sustainable and environmentally friendly cultivation is also taken into account here, in order to keep the impact on nature as low as possible. The main varieties grown are Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Aligoté.
