Formerly known as Vielles Vignes, Château Saint-Roch's elegant Corbarol Blanc glows into the glass with a bright pale yellow color. Poured into a white wine glass, this Old World wine displays wonderfully expressive aromas of nashi pear, pink grapefruit, apple and lemon, rounded out by other fruity nuances.
This French white wine delights with its elegantly dry flavor. It was bottled with exceptionally little residual sugar. This is a real quality wine, which clearly stands out from simpler qualities. And so this Frenchman enchants naturally with all dryness with the finest balance. Aroma does not necessarily need residual sugar.
Vinification of the Corbarol Blanc from Château Saint-Roch
The basis for the first-class and wonderfully balanced cuvée Corbarol Blanc from Château Saint-Roch are Grenache Blanc and Roussanne grapes. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Roussillon. Here, the vines dig their roots deep into soils of limestone. When perfect physiological ripeness is assured, the grapes for Corbarol Blanc are harvested exclusively by hand without the aid of coarse and less selective grape harvesters.
