The Bossi Fedrigotti Vign'Asmara Vigneti delle Dolomiti is a first-class white wine. It offers a wonderfully bright, golden yellow color. The color of this white wine also shows golden yellow reflections at its core. When swirling the glass, you can perceive a perfect balance in this white wine, as it is neither watery nor syrupy or liqueur-like on the walls of the glass. In the glass, this white wine from Bossi Fedrigotti presents aromas of mirabelle plums, apricots, nectarines, mangoes and peaches, complemented by other fruity nuances. On the palate, the Vign'Asmara Vigneti delle Dolomiti from Bossi Fedrigotti opens wonderfully dry, grippy and aromatic. Some wines are dry on the label, others really are. This white wine belongs to the second group, as it was bottled with only 0.6 g of residual sugar. The texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully dense on the palate. Thanks to the moderate fruit acidity, the Vign'Asmara Vigneti delle Dolomiti flatters the palate with a velvety sensation without lacking freshness. On the finish, this mature white wine from the Trentino-Alto Adige wine-growing region finally delights with good length. There are again hints of nectarine and peach.
Vinification of the Vign'Asmara Vigneti delle Dolomiti from Bossi Fedrigotti
This balanced white wine from Italy is made from the Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer grape varieties. The Vign'Asmara Vigneti delle Dolomiti is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Italian wine exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underlines the success of wines from the Old World. The fact that the Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer grapes thrive under the influence of a warm climate also has a considerable influence on the ripeness of the grapes. Among other things, this results in particularly well-ripened grapes and a rather high alcohol content in the wine. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are transported to the press house as quickly as possible. Here they are selected and carefully crushed. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks and small wooden barrels at controlled temperatures. Fermentation is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
