Wine making tradition in Tuscany
The Villa Trasqua winery is located in Tuscany, situated between Siena and Monteriggioni. The origins of the estate can be traced back to the year 1001. The focus is on the grape variety Sangiovese, from which the Chianti Classico, the "historic" form of Chianti with the highest standards of quality, is produced.
Organic viticulture
Since 2015, Villa Trasqua has been exclusively using organic viticulture in order to preserve the environment and resources. The harvest is carried out in several passes and exclusively by hand to ensure the high quality.
Mille Miglia - wine and historic racing
Hans Hulsbergen, owner of the estate and a classic car enthusiast by trade, has been supporting the historic Mille Miglia race since 2017, which has been held once a year since 1927. 1000 miles across Italy. Villa Trasqua offers modern wine for the historically inclined car fan.
