Vinification of the San Michele A Torri Vin Santo Del Chianti
This powerful white wine from Italy is vinified organically from the Verdea and Trebbiano grape varieties. Vin Santo Del Chianti is an Old World wine in the best sense of the word, as this Italian wine exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underlines the success of wines from the Old World. After being harvested by hand, the grapes are quickly transported to the winery. Here they are sorted and carefully crushed. This is followed by fermentation in small wooden vats at controlled temperatures. At the end of fermentation, the powerful Vin Santo Del Chianti is aged for several months in oak barrels.
