Viña Siegel is a family winery founded in 1980 by Alberto Siegel. After completing his agricultural and oenology studies and several internships at German wineries, Alberto decided to produce his own wine.
The key to the great success that Siegel quickly gained was the selection of the right vineyard for each grape variety. He planted the white grape varieties near the coast, where they could benefit from the cooler sea winds. The result are fresh, fruity white wines with a clear grape variety profile.
The heat-loving red grape varieties find the best conditions in the Colchagua Valley. From here come Siegel's powerful red wines with their expressive character.
Today, Viña Siegel owns 700 hectares of vineyards on 7 farms in various climatic regions between the Andes and the Pacific. Cultivation and production are based on the principles of sustainable agriculture, which includes not only vineyard ecology but also social responsibility for all farm employees.
