Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG 2015 - Fattoria della Talosa
The Vino Nobile Montepulciano Riserva DOCG from Fattoria della Talosa in the heart of Tuscany impresses with its velvety, deep red colour in the glass. The bouquet opens up rich and complex on the nose with aromas of red berry fruits, varietal floral notes of wild violet, hints of spices, undergrowth and leather in the background.
On the palate this excellent Vino Nobile Riserva shows an elegant combination of density and freshness, well integrated acidity, full-bodied taste, embedded in soft, ripe tannins, which give this Italian red wine its remarkable texture. The finish is persistently long, dense, elegant and fruity.
Vinification of the Vino Nobile Montepulciano Riserva DOCG from Fattoria della Talosa
The grapes for this Vino Nobile Riserva come from the vineyards in the Pietrose Montepulciano area, from vines that are at least 30 years old, which gives the wine its density and substance. Fermentation and subsequent malolactic fermentation take place over 20-25 days at controlled temperature in special stainless steel conical tanks. The wine is then aged for three years in large barrels and partially in new barriques and tonneaux, followed by a bottle ageing of about 6 months.
Food pairing for the Vino Nobile Montepulciano Riserva DOCG from Fattoria della Talosa
Enjoy this remarkable red wine from Tuscany as an excellent accompaniment to robust dishes with strong and spicy meat.
