More information about Volkach Blanc de Noir trocken - Weingut Zur Schwane
The Volkach Blanc de Noir from the wine-growing region of Franconia offers itself in the glass in bright light red. The first nose of the Volkach Blanc de Noir flatters with nuances of bananas. The fruity hints of the bouquet are joined by caramel.
The Weingut Zur Schwane Volkach Blanc de Noir presents itself pleasantly dry to the wine lover. This white wine never appears coarse or meager, as one might expect from a wine in the high quality wine range. On the palate, the texture of this balanced white wine is wonderfully silky. Due to its vital fruit acidity, the Volkach Blanc de Noir reveals itself to be fantastically fresh and lively on the palate. In the finish, this youthful white wine from the wine-growing region of Franconia finally inspires with considerable length. There are again hints of banana. In the aftertaste, mineral notes of the limestone-dominated soils join in.
Vinification of the Volkach Blanc de Noir from Zur Schwane Winery
The basis for the balanced Volkach Blanc de Noir from Germany are grapes from the Pinot Noir grape variety. The grapes grow under optimal conditions in Franconia. The vines here dig their roots deep into soils of limestone. After harvesting, the grapes are immediately taken to the pressing house. Here they are sorted and carefully broken up. Fermentation then takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. After the end of fermentation, the Volkach Blanc de Noir can continue to harmonize on the fine lees for a few months.
