    Weissburgunder trocken 2019 - Wagner-Stempel

    The Weissburgunder trocken from Wagner-Stempel from the German wine-growing region of Siefersheim in Rheinhessen is a pure, animating and fresh white wine made exclusively from organically grown grapes.

    In the glass this wine shimmers in a clear light yellow with greenish highlights. The filigree bouquet reveals wonderful aromas of yellow apples, juicy pears and ripe quinces - accompanied by floral nuances. Stimulatingly juicy and clear, this German white wine presents itself on the palate. It reflects the floral notes and the ripe stone fruit of the nose. A ripe acidity frames the palate, giving this wine its balance. A certain pressure, a slight creaminess and a good finish round off the Wagner stamp Weißburgunder perfectly.

    Vinification of the Wagner-Stempel Pinot Blanc

    The Pinot Blanc grapes from organic farming come from different locations of the Siefersheim vineyards. The soil is characterised by predominantly sandy to stony loam with porphyry weathered rock in the subsoil.

    In the vineyards the grapes are harvested by hand and already selected. In the wine cellar of Wagner-Stempel the must is first fermented in stainless steel tanks. This is followed by aging both in stainless steel tanks and in traditional German oak barrels.
