The Graf Neipperg winery looks back on a moving history, beginning in the 13th century. A journey marked by tradition, new ideas and award-winning wine. On the terraces around the little castle of Count Neipperg, first-class wines are produced in a traditional way. On the Neipperger Schloßberg, the Schwaigerner Ruthe and other areas, classic red wine varieties such as the Spätburgunder, Lemberger, Trollinger and Dornfelder are cultivated on the fertile and loamy soils. The focus of the counts lies clearly on fine red wines, but also dry white wines from the Muscatel or Riesling grape variety, as well as juicy rosé wines are produced in the most careful way - on the vineyard and in the cellar.
For more than 70 years now, the Graf Neipperg winery has ensured that ecological and nature-oriented work on the vineyard results in perfect quality for grapes and soil. In the cellar, the wine is traditionally aged in wooden barrels. The family Neipperg was often in charge of small revolutions at the winery. Back to ancient wine-growing traditions. Together with this philosophy, the excellent quality of the grapes, the immense experience of the cellarmasters and the mild climate of the region, excellent wines are produced, which have been awarded important prizes by numerous experts. Inspired by its success, the winery invested in further vineyards in France, South Africa and Bulgaria. One can look forward to further high-quality wines at the absolute top level.
