The Landerer Winery in Vogtsberg

The Landerer Winery is located in Vogtsberg on the Kaiserstuhl. Typical for the region, it is laid out as an angular farmhouse surrounded by vineyards and orchards.

In 1989, Karin and Thomas Landerer took over the management of the Landerer Winery. They expanded the vineyard area and adopted modern methods of wine production. The couple's son, Johannes, has also followed in his parents' footsteps, having learned at the South Tyrolean flagship winery Manincor. The plan is to continue and expand the ecological cultivation of the vineyards.

Quality promise

Quality has top priority at the Landerer Winery. The care of the vines is of particular importance. When pruning the vines, the yield is reduced, after flowering the vines are thinned out considerably, and finally the harvest is done by hand. The fermentation is done gently and temperature controlled. A small part of the wines is aged in oak barrels. All of this ensures particularly high-quality wines, whose individual character is clearly brought out.

The grape varieties

The Burgundy varieties are the special hobbyhorse of the Landerer winery. Pinot Noir alone accounts for half of the production. The grape varieties planted:
