The Winery Weinreich is located in a part of Rheinhessen called Wonnegau. Whoever is called Weinreich and comes from the Wonnegau can really only do one thing, dedicate his life to wine...you have done that!

Winery Weinreich History

Since 2009 the winery is under the management of Marc & Jan Weinreich. The vineyards are consistently cultivated ecologically, the grapes are harvested by hand and the vinification process is also based on a natural approach. This enables them to produce wines with a naturalness that is exactly the way the vineyards around Bechtheim grow. Only in harmony with the natural and original conditions of the soils can wines with a strong character be produced, which in the end bear the signature of the winemaker but also of the origin.

Winery Weinreich Philosophy

The estate, local and site wines shine with minerality and authenticity. They reflect the terroir of Bechtheim's best sites.

The Geyersberg is one of the best vineyard sites in Rheinhessen. Only the ripest grapes are harvested there. The long ripening on the vine and a long yeast storage give this special wine delicate creamy nuances. It captivates with its limestone minerality and fascinates us with a multi-layered, filigree acidity.

The highly ripe grapes of their oldest vineyards from the warm basin location of the Hasensprung make these wines a unique experience. Terraced, like its region of origin, the Riesling Hasensprung shows us the way, first from peach and honey aromas on the nose, through its spicy, mineral taste on the palate, up to its own place in the sun.
